High ISO Lady
As part of a recent talk I gave a the camera club on digital workflow with Lightroom, I demo’d how to recover from high-iso/noisy images with Aafke as the perfect subject!
ISO 25600 on the 5Dmk2 is amazingly recoverable, though not without clear issues, with luminance noise reduction in Lightroom 3.3. I’d be keen to hear your thoughts!

I’d love a copy or instructions for your workflow. I have an almost identical shot that I’d like to work on.

For such high ISO it certainly looks clean. It’s lacking in contrast (apart from the two blown highlights) but I suppose that’s a consequence of the ISO. The image looks a little soft – presumably the lens was wide open – again one of the consequences. Other than that you did a great job on it.
Now I want the MKII and so will MissusP&B
