West Light

There's a bizarre quality to the light in the west that I can't explain. I guess you'll just have to go visit yourself!

Added a vignette, desaturated a touch and added a two graduated filters to lighten up the areas in line with the sunbeams then dropped the overall exposure by about 1/3 of a stop!

Beautiful lighting and nicely captured. Tricky to maintain exposure values I expect (like any shot where the sun is actually in the frame).
Looks a bit like the profile of Benbulbin.

That is a stunning shot. Well done. Makes me want to visit this walk. Didn’t know it existed the last time I was there. Mind you it was pouring down with rain too.

Thanks for looking in Kevin! Yeah, you’re right – it’s mostly pouring down though I get to visit enough that my odds of sunshine are increased ever so slightly
